Ramblers Worldwide Holidays and the St Lucia Tourist Board got together last week to celebrate this unique Caribbean island in the oak panelled reception rooms of the High Commission in London.
Our guests sampled a truly Caribbean ambiance as they mingled to the sounds of the steel pans and sampled the unique cuisine that the islands are famous for.
Of course, the highlight of any of these ‘taste of’ evenings is always the presentation that is offered by our hosts and one of our walking leaders. Jean-Marc Flambert, the Director of Marketing for the UK and Europe – Saint Lucia Tourist Board demonstrated the beauty and magnificence of this island paradise.
As a special treat on this occasion, John Carter, the former presenter of the BBC’s Holiday Programme and ITV’s Wish You Were Here series shared his favourite experiences of St Lucia with us.
Even St Lucia’s High Commissioner himself was compelled to join in at the end to share his passion for the island with our walkers and to personally invite them to visit this special place.
Ramblers Worldwide Holidays and the island of St Lucia have a special relationship that the St Lucia Tourist Board has endorsed by presenting their ‘Specialist Tour Operator with the Largest Growth in Group Business to St Lucia 2012’ to Ramblers Worldwide Holidays.
We at Ramblers Worldwide Holidays really look forward to welcoming you on one of our holidays to explore rain forests, mud baths, drive through volcanoes and amazing sea views.
