We are again indebted to Ros’ sister Caroline for putting us up overnight and getting us to the station to catch the shuttle train to Gatwick. The airport experience is the usual set of slow-moving queues though this time I am not frisked or accused of being a ‘plant’ trying to break security!
Following the path of the Moors
Ramblers intern Kate Mellor has been walking the path of ancient history across two continents. She was following the Moorish Trail on a cultural journey that began in the 8th century; starting in Marrakesh, it leads through Morocco, across to Andalucia in Spain, and all the way up to modern Madrid.
Wandering in Morocco
Viv and I were enthralled with our rambling holiday in Morocco with you all which proved to give us a wide range of diverse places to experience and peoples to meet – all in all it was a highly rewarding experience made all the better by the committed, caring and expert leadership of Mike and the supportive services provided by our local guides and coach team.
In The Footsteps of Berbers
A group from the Northern Ireland Civil Service Rambling Club travelled to Morocco from 10 to 17 October 2013 for our latest of a long list of holidays with Ramblers Holidays. This was a walking holiday with a difference: different country, different terrain, different culture.
